Ever since its early days, the Internet Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP) has embarked on working toward coaching and delivering the necessary digital tools for advertising and integrated marketing experts to make better communication decisions. Last October 10-12 of 2016, the organization continued to harness the power of digital convergence at the Philippines’ digital congress by enlightening professionals about their essence in the digital realm. The conference was held in Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex, Pasay City. Mustering over 2000 delegates across the digital industry, the IMMAP continues their expedition by bringing this year’s digital marketing event entitled Power of X.

The event gathered everyone who’s anyone in their list of speakers. This includes Twitter’s Head of Brand Strategy and Advocacy for Asia Pacific and Middle East and North Africa (APAC-MENA), Steve Kalifowitz; Spotify’s Managing Director for Asia, Sunita Kaur; the Head of Consumer Marketing for Google Southeast Asia, Ryan Morales; Head of Asia Pacific Sales for Waze, Eleanne Hattis; and the Head for eCommerce, Financial Services for Travel, Southeast Asia, for Facebook eCommerce,and Sandhia Devanathan and many more. Reputable names for a big event like this ensure inspiring stories and motivational speech for digital aficionados who attended the conference.

Fortunately for AGPH, it was able to experience and apply the lessons gained through the Business Development Executive – Philippines of the company, Gene Jardeleza, who attended the seminar.
“I realized that the whole idea of the digital congress is that digital is everything. They also discussed about digital economy where it is slowly but surely happening to everyone, whether in the traditional or digital marketing industries, should be able to embrace it and witness it.” He stated after attending a couple of break-out sessions from different speakers all across different field and industry.
Gene also shared about how every digital organization such as Google, Facebook, Twitter were represented by the regional heads. He was also able to meet some players in the industry. “It was a great opportunity to network and to know what networks and brands are thinking.” He added.
